This offers practical advice and guidance on providing a service to customers
with disabilities and specific needs. The training programme covers
a range of sensory, mobility and learning disabilities, and concentrates
on an individual’s responsibility for effective communication,
enhancing accessibility and delivering a high quality service to customers
with special needs. It also ensures that participants are aware
of the key provisions of the Disability Discrimination Act.

This aims to help managers and owners of tourism businesses develop the
understanding, skills and competencies needed for effective business
management. It concentrates on measuring key elements of business
effectiveness, reviewing the quality of your team’s customer service,

The Welcome International training programme is designed for those whose
work brings them into contact with overseas visitors from non-English
speaking markets. It provides a basic introduction to key phrases
in 2 foreign languages selected from Arabic, Dutch, French, German, Italian,
Japanese Mandarin, Chinese, Norwegian and Spanish. It also gives
participants an appreciation into cultural differences to help them improve
service standards.
